Master Robert Clairday 

 
Master Clairday is the founder and co-owner of Clairday's Karate Studios (1983).  He was born on July 15, 1961 in Florence, Arizona.  He is also the founder of the Alabama Karate Circuit (1984) and the founder and co-author of C.L.A.W.S. Children Learning About Warnings of Strangers. Master Clairday is an 18 time Alabama Karate Circuit State Champion in weapons.  He has also won several State Championships in the forms, fighting and extreme divisions.
 
Beyond the martial arts, Master Clairday has had 27 years in Law Enforcement with the Department of Corrections in both Louisianna and Alabama.  He received a gold medal in the police olympics.
 
Hobbies include flying and going to the movies.  Master Clairday has a private pilot's license.

Melissa is a co-owner of Clairday's Karate Studios.  She was born in February 5, 1966.  She is currently  beginning her 16th year in elementary education and also is an instructor at the university level. Melissa's martial arts experience began in 1999.  She is now a Master in the martial arts with State Championship titles in Weapons, Forms, and Fighting. Melissa is also the co-author of C.L.A.W.S. Children Learning About Warnings of Strangers.
